01

General Terms

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to purchases made directly through the official Al-Munādī Academy website or other official academy channels. Different terms may apply to promotions or special offers only where those terms are clearly disclosed before purchase and are permitted by applicable law.

  • Customers are responsible for reviewing the product description, course details, fees, schedule, format, and other purchase information before payment.
  • A refund request must be submitted through the official contact channel with sufficient information to identify the transaction.
  • Refund eligibility depends on the product or service purchased, the timing of the request, and the circumstances of the case.
  • A payment confirmation or order placement does not guarantee that a cancellation or refund request will be approved.
  • Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be waived.
02

Refund Policy for Courses

Course fees reserve a place in a scheduled educational programme and cover course delivery, teaching arrangements, administration, and learning support. Accordingly, refunds are subject to the limited conditions below.

Before the first class

If no class has been conducted and a refund request is submitted before the first scheduled class begins, 100% of the eligible course fee paid will be refunded, subject to verification and applicable law.

Within the first 3 calendar days

A refund of 70% of the eligible course fee paid may be requested only if the request is received within 3 calendar days of the first scheduled class and no more than 3 classes have been conducted. The remaining 30% is retained towards administration and course arrangements.

After the initial refund window

After the 3-calendar-day window or once a fourth class has been conducted, whichever occurs first, course fees are non-refundable for change-of-mind or personal-circumstance requests. This does not affect remedies required by applicable law or refunds for services the academy fails to provide.

The initial refund window begins on the first scheduled class date, even if a student chooses not to attend. Requests must be made in writing within the applicable window; a verbal request or an informal discussion does not itself complete the refund process.

03

Course Refund Eligibility

Students should carefully review course details and ensure that the schedule and learning requirements are suitable before enrolling.

Reasons that normally do not qualify for a refund

  • Missing classes, irregular attendance, late joining, or choosing not to continue.
  • Personal commitments, changes in availability, or scheduling conflicts after enrolment.
  • Dissatisfaction based solely on personal preference, learning pace, or expected progress.
  • Failure to complete homework, assessments, practice, or other course requirements.
  • Lack of access to a student's own suitable internet connection, device, or required software.
  • Failure to read the course description, requirements, fee structure, or schedule before payment.
  • Requesting a refund after the applicable refund window has expired.

Missed classes do not automatically entitle a student to a refund or cash compensation. Any make-up class, rescheduling, or alternative arrangement will be handled under the relevant course terms.

Course access, seats, and enrolments are not transferable to another person without the academy's written approval.

04

Book Cancellation Policy

Physical book orders may be cancelled only before they have been dispatched.

  • Contact the academy promptly with your order number and cancellation request.
  • Cancellation is not guaranteed once an order has entered dispatch or has been handed over to the delivery partner.
  • Once an order has been dispatched, change-of-mind cancellation requests are generally not accepted. Eligible wrong, defective, damaged, or materially misdescribed items remain subject to the returns and remedies described below.
  • If a pre-dispatch cancellation is approved, the applicable refund will be initiated to the original payment method, subject to verification.
05

Book Returns & Replacements

Because books are physical learning materials, returns are limited to eligible cases. Please check the title, edition, description, quantity, and other product details before placing your order.

Situations eligible for review

Wrong book or item received

If the item delivered does not match the item ordered, contact the academy with your order details and clear photos of the received item.

Damaged or defective book

Report visible delivery damage or a printing defect as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of delivery. Include the order number and photographs showing the issue and packaging where available.

Materially different from its description

If a book materially differs from its advertised description, contact the academy with supporting details so the claim can be reviewed.

For an eligible claim, the academy will arrange an appropriate remedy, which may include a replacement or refund as required by the circumstances and applicable law. If a replacement is unavailable when a refund is due, the applicable refund will be processed.

Return conditions

  • Keep the book, packaging, invoice, and delivery information available until the claim is resolved.
  • Books being returned should remain unused and in their original condition where reasonably possible, unless the condition itself is the subject of the complaint.
  • The academy may request photographs, order details, or return inspection to verify a claim.
  • Return shipping for an eligible wrong or damaged item will be handled in accordance with the applicable remedy and law.

The 48-hour reporting period is intended to help us investigate delivery issues promptly. It does not automatically remove any statutory consumer right.

06

Non-Refundable Situations

Except where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law, the following situations are generally not eligible for a refund:

Change of mind

Deciding not to use a book or attend a course after a valid purchase, by itself, does not qualify for a refund.

Used or customer-damaged books

Books that have been written in, marked, altered, or damaged after delivery by the customer are generally not eligible for return due to change of mind.

Missed or unused course sessions

Unused lessons, missed classes, partial attendance, or discontinuing a course after the refund window do not normally qualify for a refund.

Incorrect customer selection

Selecting the wrong book, course, edition, or programme does not automatically qualify for a refund when the supplied item or service matches the order.

Downloadable or digital materials

Where downloadable or digital materials are sold, refunds are generally unavailable after access or download has begun, except where an applicable legal right, material defect, or unresolved access issue requires a remedy.

07

Refund Process & Timeline

Refund requests are reviewed against the applicable order details, payment confirmation, course attendance or delivery status, and the conditions in this policy.

  1. 1

    Submit your request

Email the academy with your order or course details and the reason for your request.

  2. 2

    Verification and decision

The academy will verify eligibility. For book claims, additional evidence or inspection may be needed.

  3. 3

    Refund processing

Once approved, the refund will generally be initiated within 7–10 working days. The time taken for the amount to appear in your account may depend on your bank or payment provider. Any shorter statutory deadline will take precedence.

Refunds will normally be sent to the original payment method. Where this is not possible, the academy may request verified alternative payment details.

08

Academy-Initiated Cancellations

If the academy cancels a course before it begins and cannot provide a reasonable alternative accepted by the student, the eligible course fee paid will be refunded in full.

If a course is discontinued after it has started and the academy cannot provide the remaining service, an appropriate refund for the undelivered portion will be provided, subject to applicable law and the individual circumstances.

If a book order cannot be fulfilled, the customer will be informed and the eligible amount paid for the unfulfilled order will be refunded.

Where a class is rescheduled or a reasonable replacement session is offered, that change alone does not automatically qualify for a refund.

09

How to Request a Refund

Send your request to our official support email. Include the following details to help us review it without unnecessary delay.

  • Your full name and registered email address.
  • Order number or course name and enrolment date.
  • Payment reference or transaction confirmation.
  • The reason for the request and the resolution sought.
  • For book issues, photographs of the item and packaging, where relevant.

For course refunds, submit your request within the applicable deadline described in this policy. For delivery damage or wrong-book claims, notify us as promptly as possible, preferably within 48 hours of receipt.

Important

Sending a request does not guarantee approval. Eligibility will be determined under the relevant terms and applicable consumer law. A request received outside a voluntary refund window will still be reviewed where a legal remedy may apply.
